Abstract

The proliferation of illicit online lending schemes, colloquially known aspinjol, has introduced significant vulnerabilities within the corporate sector, primarily manifesting as breaches and the exploitation of employee data. These unauthorized lending services operate outside the regulatory framework of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), as defined by OJK Regulation No. 40 of 2024 on Technology-Based Co-Funding Services (LPBBTI). The consequences of such illegal practices are multifaceted, encompassing the unauthorized circulation of personal information, intimidating debt collection tactics directed at the workplace, and considerable disruption to routine business operations. In response, corporations are proactively adopting mitigation strategies, which include conducting regular educational programs on the dangers of illegal lending and enhancing the security infrastructure protecting employee data. These measures are strategically designed to preserve the company's reputation and avert potential material and non-material damages stemming from illicit lending activities
