Peran Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman dalam Pemeliharaan Taman Kota Tampoenek di Kabupaten Bungo

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas (Perkim) of Bungo Regency in maintaining Tampoenek City Park and to identify the constraints encountered in its implementation. Tampoenek City Park functions as a green open space that provides ecological, social, aesthetic, and economic benefits to the community. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Disperkim has carried out its role in park maintenance through planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting stages. However, the implementation and evaluation stages have not been fully optimal. The main constraints include limited budget allocation, insufficient human resources, and low public awareness and participation in maintaining park facilities. This study suggests strengthening priority-based planning, increasing budget allocation, and enhancing community involvement to ensure sustainable urban park management.
